CATCHING THE BALL
- All receivers need to always be ready to catch a pass
|
- Have hand extended away from your body and use fingertips to catch the ball
|
- Once you catch the ball, protect it by bringing it into your body
|
- Hands should be in a diamond shape when catching the ball
|
- If the ball is coming in low, make sure to scoop it up with elbows in
|
- On high passes, make sure to time your jump as you reach with your hands. Catch the ball at its highest point
