Be a part of the tradition!

Join the World-renowned Flag Football program.

This program is for highly skilled athletes ages 9-14 who wish to be involved in the ultimate team experience.

Try-Outs will be held on: August 31, 2008 6-8pm

Mo Steel Junior Player Development (JPD):

JPD Phase 1:
Ages 10-11 (some 9 year olds will be accepted based on ability)
TOP 10 PLAYERS WILL BE SELECTED
One practice per week to develop overall skills with Head Coach David Fried and former Mo Steel players
Footwork, Pattern Running, Passing, Defensive positioning, Flag pulling, Toughness, Mental preparation, Receiving, Values of teamwork, accountability, preparation, much more!
- Each player will be evaluated each month to track progress.
- Each player enrolled in JPD will be placed on a team in our in-house league, which meets once per week
- Phase 1 athletes will participate in 1 tournament (October) and 1 league (10 games, Saturdays in February and March) in South Miami Dade. Only the top 10 athletes in Phase 1 will make those rosters.

JPD Phase 2:

Ages 11-13
TOP 10 PLAYERS WILL BE SELECTED
Two practices per week to fine-tune overall skills. Athletes will be given positions and will begin extensive training suitable to their position.
-Each player will be evaluated each month to track progress.
-Each player enrolled in JPD will be placed on a team in our in-house league, which meets once per week
Phase 2 athletes will participate in 4 tournaments (October, December, February and May) and 1 league (10 games, Saturdays in February and March) in South Miami Dade. Only the top 10 athletes in Phase 2 will make those rosters.

ONCE ATHLETES COMPLETE THE JPD PROGRAM:
1) They will be much better flag football players in terms of fundamentals and discipline.
2) Athletes will understand the game from a strategy standpoint.
3) Athletes will have values of teamwork, hard work and responsibility 
Understand that completing this program does not guarantee a spot on the Mo Steel Seniors. Completing this program will give athletes a major upper hand in landing a spot in the greatest travel program in the United States.

Mo Steel Seniors

Ages 13-14- Athlete may turn 15 after September 1, 2008
This highly competitive team is comprised of 10 athletes who are chosen after a series of try-outs. Team travels to over 12 tournaments each season and play well over 100 games per year in both competitive leagues and national and international competitions.

Youth Leagues

Our in-house youth leagues are a recreational activity. Each team plays 1 game per week and practices once per week. On occasion, teams may play 2 games per week.
Our web site, www.primetimefootball.com is the home for all players and parents. On this site, each player will be able to keep track of his statistics, vote in our weekly polls, view game highlights, check team standings, play football interactive games and do so much more.

Registration and Evaluations

You may reserve a spot by going onto our web site at www.mosteelfootball.com.

 

All players will be drafted onto a team after evaluation night. In order to be drafted, players MUST be paid in full.
After the season, there is an end of the season jamboree to hand our superlatives awards and trophy’s.

Each player will receive a Jersey, program outline with curriculum and playbook with illustrations and diagrams so that players may participate at home. Each player will receive a trophy at the completion of the program.

  • QB should never stare down their primary receiver
