Parental Involvement
Coaching- You do not need to be Pat Riley or Don Shula. Volunteer coaching is very rewarding, especially for your children. Practice sessions are very flexible as it can fit into your personal schedule. The Prime Time Football professional staff is always available to assist you in your needs. We provide a coaching handbook complete with practice plans, sample plays, key terms and much more.
Team Parent- A team parent is a very important component to a successful team. Team parent keeps the team organized by keeping team members and their families up to date with team events such as games, practices, picture days, etc.
Sponsor- Become a major part of a team by “owning” it. Sponsoring a team is a great way to promote your business while at the same time giving back to your community.
Practices-
Each team is coached by volunteer’s who devote their time to train the team. We encourage parents to participate in our coaching opportunities. With this in mind practices are held once a week at the coaches’ availability. Coaches and/or Team Parent will give ample notice time so that you may plan your schedules accordingly. All coaches must attend a Prime Time Football Coaches Orientation before the season begins. This orientation covers in detail a productive practice outline that is followed throughout the season.
Registration-
Anyone may register 4 weeks prior to Registration Night (which is mentioned on the web site) or on registration night. In order to avoid long lines on Registration Night, it is highly recommended families pre-register.
Draft-
In order to create fair and balanced teams, all players must attend “Evaluations” which is generally on Registration Night. After a series of drills, each player will receive a final score. There is a draft a few days after evaluations (coaches only) and teams are organized according based on players’ abilities. The intent is to create a fair distribution of talent between teams. All registrants will be assigned to a team. There are no “cuts” from the Prime Time Football League. WE DO NOT STACK TEAMS
First Game-
The season begins approximately 2 weeks following evaluation night. As mentioned above, those 2 weeks are for conducting league drafts and having team practices for the first time so that the kids get to meet each other before game 1. Coaches will call players the day following the draft to set up their first practice session as well as the first game.
Communication-
Communication is key! Each parent will be on our master email blast list which will notify you of any league wide important information. Other than that, coaches will provide each team member with their email address and cell phone number. On rainy days, check the web site which will notify you of cancellations.
End of the Season Jamboree-
Our end of the season carnival (Sunday) includes Semi-Final and Championship games, all star games, coaches games, interactive games and NFL Player clinics, barbeque and much more. Trophies and awards are also handed out.

Our web site, www.primetimefootball.com is the home for all players and parents. On this site, each player will be able to keep track of his or her statistics, vote in our weekly polls, view game highlights, check team standings, play football interactive games and do so much more. All schedules and team rosters are posted online the day following the draft.
